Step 1: Obtain a tax refund form when shopping.
When shopping at stores participating in the tax refund program, you can request a tax refund form every time your purchase exceeds 2000 Thai baht. When filling it out, pay attention to the following points:
  • The name on the receipt should be the same as your passport.
  • Fill in your passport number and nationality.
  • Register your contact email for easy customer progress inquiry.
  • Get the merchant's stamp, and keep the receipt safe.
Step 2: Take the items out of Thailand.
Within 60 days from the date of purchase, you must take the items out of Thailand. It is recommended to put your goods in your carry-on luggage for easy customs inspection at the airport~ Remember not to open or use the goods! Otherwise, it may affect the tax refund result. Step 3: Proceed with the tax refund process.
Submit the completed tax refund form, shopping receipts, goods, and passport to the staff for inspection. If there is no problem, the staff will stamp and confirm on the spot.
