This time I recommend 11 great places to enjoy the night view in Taipei. I'll tell you about the features and transportation of each location so that you can easily immerse yourself in the night scenery!

This is a new viewing platform located in the Jian Tan Mountain trail. This trail was already great for viewing city scenery, and the newly added white spherical observatory area shines especially beautifully under the sunlight. The view is very expansive, stretching all the way to the Tamsui River and Keelung River. Therefore, more and more people come here to take photos. Walking from the Beian platform upward leads to the Micro Wind platform, another newly built viewing area, each with its own unique characteristics. After enjoying the views, you can also conveniently visit the Shilin Night Market!

Taipei 101 has always been a popular landmark in Taipei, but did you know you can go to floors 89 and 101 for the views? Standing in the center of Xinyi District, looking down from here is incredibly bustling with a wide view. The moon-viewing atmosphere on floor 86 is great, while floor 101 is designed as a secret garden. Plus, during the ascent, you'll ride an ultra-high-speed elevator, taking only 37 seconds to reach the observation deck from floor 5 to floor 89! However, when purchasing tickets, be careful to note that there are options for going to just floor 89 or including floor 101. Don't buy the wrong one!

I have to say, Bitang is a place I really like. There's the glowing Bitang Bridge, boat experiences (either by foot or electric), streets lined with food stalls, a relaxing scenic restaurant area, and a creek reflecting all this vibrant lighting. Every spring, there's even a water dance performance. Just walking around here can be very relaxing. If you have the energy, cycling or hiking here is also very comfortable. If you want to specifically come to Bitang to see fireflies, I recommend coming between April and May!

Many locals choose to go to Yangmingshan to see the night view. There are numerous viewpoints to choose from, and it's relatively less crowded than other popular spots. The most famous one is undoubtedly the mountain behind Culture University, which is closer to the city and offers a panoramic view. Other highly recommended spots include Qingshan Grassland and Zhúzihu Viewing Platform. If you want to dine at a restaurant with a view, the hottest options are Caoshan Nightless Sleep and Rooftop On. However, remember to arrive early to avoid long queues!

Over the past few years, Dadaocheng Wharf has undergone significant changes. More and more vendors have gathered, setting up seating areas for visitors. Now, besides cycling here, tourists can also relax and enjoy the comfort. At night, the stalls light up, creating a charming foreign atmosphere. Some even sell alcohol with upstairs seating on their carts. Alternatively, you can buy a boat ticket to admire the bustling scene of the container market from the water.

If you want to see a night view dominated by mountain scenery, I recommend coming to Maokong. Maokong itself is a great place for tea drinking and enjoying the scenery. Because it's located on a mountain, you need to take a cable car to get there. Therefore, at night, there is less light pollution than in cities, and you can see more stars. At night, I recommend finding a restaurant with a view. The most famous ones are Siye's Restaurant and Mao Lan, which offer a rich dinner menu. There's even an 8% discount recently!

Most Taipei riverside parks still have many people walking and exercising in the evening. The park and river view has always been a relaxing place that people in the city yearn for. At Gongguan Waterfront Plaza, there is a bar street where you can sit down to listen to music, enjoy a drink, and admire the park views below. Of course, it's also highly recommended that you take photos with the art installations in the park.

The scenery of Bisha Mountain is breathtaking, offering views of Taipei 101, Yuan Shan Hotel, the airport, rice terraces, and Tamsui River.
