Yulon City

Yulon City, located in the Xindian District of New Taipei City, is a brand new large-scale mixed-use commercial facility that just opened in September 2023. It includes a 5-story Eslite Spectrum, brands recruited by Yulon City itself, and a Vieshow Cinema. It satisfies all needs for food, clothing, education, and entertainment!

The overall design features extensive use of glass. Unlike other shopping malls that utilize every available space, the interior aims to preserve memorable features. For example, the large "Taichi Nini" sculpture on the first floor attracts the attention of all visitors. They've even built a botanical garden, making it very comfortable to browse around. It has a strong sense of "livability" or "everyday life" atmosphere.

0KM Mountain House is a green oasis that opened in March 2024, spanning nearly 500 ping (approximately 1,650 square meters). It was renovated from a century-old Japanese wooden dormitory. 0KM is dedicated to promoting Taiwan's mountain forest culture, and as a result, the garden features abundant vegetation. Visitors are reminded to respect this ecological environment when they come. You can enjoy hand-dripped coffee and desserts at the Japanese-style house café, participate in mountain forest-related exhibitions, and browse through the cultural and creative products area.

NOKE is a large shopping mall that opened in April 2023. Guandu Wharf Container Market

The leisurely atmosphere along Taipei's riverside has always been appealing. In 2020, a container market was first opened at Dadaocheng Wharf, which was very successful. Now, in May 2024, another one has opened at Guandu Wharf. Taipei Arena Roller186 Skating Rink

The Taroko Group newly opened the Roller Rink Taipei Arena in July 2023. The editor visited shortly after its opening. Buying tickets through KKday was very convenient. Upon entering, you can first store your personal belongings in lockers, then borrow protective gear and shoes. The venue is divided into practice areas, main arena, and rest areas, which is friendly to both beginners and those looking to take photos. The interior design style is very unique, making you feel as if you're walking in space!

Jixiang Dao is a new shopping mall opening in April 2024 in the Xinyi District. It is designed around the core concepts of food, clothing, living, and entertainment, positioning itself as a "small department store specializing in selling luck." The mall features brands related to cuisine, curated products, reading, and lifestyle. Among these, Da Ji Tuan is a "Taiwanese-style dai pai dong" offering a diverse and creative range of Taiwanese dishes, making it a unique restaurant. The entire building is a white glass structure with excellent lighting, making it perfect for taking photos and checking in on social media!

New Taipei City Art Museum

Taipei has gained another art museum! The area was originally an arts and cultural space with numerous ceramic public art pieces. The new museum opened in April 2023, and although the main building is still undergoing interior construction, some areas have been opened for public viewing. These include a water play area, a dome art space, and an art neighborhood with resident artists. The exterior of the main building is constructed with over 3,000 cylindrical aluminum tubes, creating a unique "blurred effect" when viewed or photographed. Combined with the surrounding reeds, it produces a beautiful, hazy aesthetic.

Sogo Department Store (Diamond Plaza)

Opening in October 2023 and positioned as "Taipei's trendiest social hub," Shin Kong Mitsukoshi has launched a new department store in Taipei's East District called Diamond Towers. Aiming for high-end fashion, its exterior design is inspired by the concept of a dazzling diamond. The store introduces a diverse range of brands, featuring not only international luxury goods but also, most notably, an impressive selection of dining options. These include the aesthetically pleasing milk tea-colored café "Spoon Day," world-class "Xing Bo Coffee," and the Michelin-starred restaurant "Little Tree Food." Additionally, the complex boasts a rooftop garden and areas for children and families!

Brilliant Time of Rongjin

Originally the official residence of Taipei Prison, it was revitalized and completed in 2022. Now it's a popular new attraction full of historical atmosphere. As you stroll through the park, you can see the old-time charm of century-old camphor trees and red brick buildings everywhere, as if you were transported back in time. It's a very unique historical scenery. Now it has gathered quite a few brands, including cultural and creative gift shops, handicraft workshops, cafes, and restaurants. Whether you want to take photos for social media, shop, dine, or appreciate the culture of old houses, it's recommended to check out this spot!

Shuangxi Wetland Park

The Shuangxi Wetland Park, which opened at the end of 2022, is a new spot for viewing sunsets and wetland ecology. The main highlight is the "underwater walkway," where visitors can observe the flora and fauna up close. You can also go to the observation deck to overlook the entire park. It's highly recommended to visit during sunset when the river's reflection makes it even more romantic and beautiful. For transportation, cycling is the best option, as you can take the Shuangxi Riverside Bicycle Path to reach the park.
