8:30 Taipei Public Library, Beitou Branch
The first stop is the Taipei Public Library (Beitou Branch). Located in the lush greenery of Beitou Park and adjacent to the Beitou Hot Spring Museum, this beautiful and unique library is Taiwan's first green building library. It has been listed as one of the top 10 coolest green buildings in the world by the foreign website "WHEN ON EARTH."
9:00 Beitou Hot Spring Museum
Next, we walk to the Beitou Hot Spring Museum. Built during the Japanese colonial period, the former Beitou public bathhouse offers insights into the development and history of Beitou hot springs. The first floor features a brick-built large bathing pool, while the second floor is a wooden resting area with a spacious tatami-mat covered activity hall and a lookout (balcony).
9:40 Geothermal Valley
Then we head to the Geothermal Valley, one of the sources of Beitou hot springs. This place boasts crystal clear water and "qing shan" spring quality. The water temperature is extremely high, with constant steam rising and sulfur gas swirling above the hot water, creating a mystical ambiance like a fairyland.
11:00 Yangmingshan Flower Clock
The Flower Clock is one of Yangmingshan's most famous landmarks. Due to Yangmingshan's pleasant climate, this giant clock with a diameter of 13 meters showcases different blooms throughout the year. Afterward, we visit Yangming Bookstore (also known as Zhongxing Inn), which was originally Chiang Kai-shek's summer retreat and a guesthouse for important foreign guests.

Zhuzihu is an important leisure agriculture district on Yangmingshan. In recent years, it has combined its blooming season, natural scenery, and cultural resources to attract visitors during the flower season. Initially a volcanic dam lake, the fertile soil and flat terrain led to the formation of one of the few rural settlements on Yangmingshan.
13:30 Xiaoyukeng Recreation Area
Xiaoyukeng is one of the most popular attractions on Yangmingshan. Formed by post-volcanic activity, this area features a unique landscape where residual heat from beneath the earth heats the trapped gases, creating vents that spew sulfur and steam, resulting in an extraordinary sight of geothermal haze.
14:10 Qingtian Gang Prairie
Next, we visit Qingtian Gang Prairie. The expansive beauty leaves visitors feeling refreshed. During the Japanese colonial period, Qingtian Gang Prairie was planned as a pasture for grazing cattle. Although livestock farming is no longer practiced here, cattle still live on the grassland, remaining a significant image of Taiwan in people's minds.
15:20 Lengshui Keng Visitors Center
Finally, we explore Lengshui Keng, which was once a lake formed by the volcanic damming of Qixing Mountain and Qigu Mountain. Although called "Cold Water Pit," the water temperature is actually not cold (around 40 degrees Celsius) because it's slightly cooler compared to the surrounding hot springs, hence its name.
